## Specification
- What it does: Catch high-value Shopify orders over $200 instantly while gaining immediate AI-generated insights into each customer's purchase history. You receive detailed VIP alerts directly in Slack that summarize buying behavior, letting you focus only on the most important opportunities without sifting through low-value noise.
- Trigger: Triggered by an event (Event · on new Shopify order)

  - Shopify: Trigger and fetch customer data
  - OpenAI Chat Model: Summarize order history
  - Slack: Send VIP alerts to team

## Known pitfalls, handle each one explicitly in your implementation
1. The customer ID might be null for guest checkouts so add a conditional branch to skip the history fetch and alert if no customer record exists.
2. Large order histories can exceed token limits so truncate the response or paginate carefully before sending data to the OpenAI model to prevent errors.
3. Slack message formatting breaks with special characters so sanitize the AI summary text by removing unescaped HTML tags before posting to the channel.
